The instant image of Ken Giles punching himself, first in the chest and then in the jaw, was of a newborn flailing in his crib, and an adult baby, disrespectful of the Yankees and everyone watching: http://nyer.cm/HgweNGg pic.twitter.com/n783TdHPOb

I love me some Roger Angell but I don't get this. The Astros closer gives up what turns out to be a game-losing HR in the 9th inning, gets angry at himself, hits himself, and Angell thinks this is disrespecting the YANKEES?

How can anybody "disrespect" the Yankees by punching himself? Is the New Yorker showing too much respect for the Yankees? No surprise there.

Sounds like the one of the effete eggheads at the New Yorker has the vapors again. Someone get the smelling salts.

How the hell was this disrespectful to the Yankees? Closers in baseball are a unique breed. I'm not a fan of the Houston Astros, but I'm sure his eccentricity is what endears him to his teammates and fans. This was a pretty lazy opinion. Puke.
