        No it hasn’t. DDT is pollutant and has been proven to harm avian ecosystems. Indiscriminate use of other pesticides is still an issue.

        Malaria deaths fell every year from 1962 to 1990, leveled off, then fell again 1999 to 2017. When Rachel Carson published "Silent Spring," 5 million humans died each year from malaria. Today, <450,000 die, worldwide. 90% cut in deaths. Rachel Carson SAVED 100 million humans.
