Even after being fired by President Trump, James Comey says he doesn’t dislike the President; he tells David Remnick that what he feels is more akin to sympathy. Listen to the interview.http://nyer.cm/yriF4Az

He should save his tears for Hillary Clinton, but that would also mean he has to own that he did real harm to her.

Which day did James Comey wake up and decide he thought @realDonaldTrump was unfit to be President? Comey was always in a deceptive, trap-setting state-of-mind while telling Trump he wanted to work for him.

James Comey’s interview with David Remnick is essential for judging Comey’s actions. My judgment—as a conservative who deeply and equally loathes both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump—is that Comey acted honorably and rightly in a series of untenable circumstances.

My recollections of Maddow, Colbert & The View interviews, were that he _doesn't like trump_ (natch--who would?) I can't pinpoint that because I have deleted the shows from TiVo

While I basically respect James Comey, and appreciate that he is a serious person and fundamentally honest, his condescension and earnestness can be off putting.

We need a list of the people who haven't interviewed Comey at this point. And seriously that he says he doesn't dislike Trump is incredibly boring non-news.
