Vladimir Putin and his generals must be pleased by the limited initial U.S. response to the latest chemical-weapons attack in Syria. http://nyer.cm/d87Qy1I

Can a U.S. attack in Syria stop the use of chemical weapons or would it create an even deeper crisis in the region? Full debate: http://bit.ly/2Hk65oN  pic.twitter.com/33KngCo19X

Or was it a complete failure? This would explain the need to engage in damage control and paint the aggressors as a restrained party, that is thoughtfully considering its next move. At least WW3 averted ... for now.

Trump’s limited missile strikes in Syria were a “win-win-win” for all parties! Syria was relieved the damage to their infrastructure was minimal. Russia’s military position in Syria was solidified. Trump’s “Wag the Dog” strategy to distract from his legal woes worked! #TrumpSyria

Disgusting warmongering emotive writing. “Whether thanks to their successful “madman” routine, or the success of arguments for restraint by U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis” You’ve conflated Mattis with Putin! WTF.
