This is the week we know, with increasing certainty, that we are entering the last phase of the Trump Presidency. This doesn’t feel like a prophecy; it feels like a simple statement of the apparent truth.http://nyer.cm/RqzOkhK

Hope it's true. The nation has been sick with a malignant tumor for close to 500 days.

So worth reading! There comes a point when a nation must face a truth it has denied. We are in the end stage of that denial. The sooner we accept that, the sooner we can start correcting the damage done to the presidency.

Tell us if he made tapes of any graft and bribery of the senate and house. Pretend they're Democrats and hold numerous hearings. Go Benghazi on them.

I remember the first cartoon characterization of Trump that caught my eye . . . the Emporer has no Clothes . . . that his value - financially, intellectually, morally, emotionally - were all in his own head. That mental fiction is terrifying in a world leadership position.

Based on all Trump's deflective tweets today so far, it sure seems like he feels the noose of justice tightening around his neck. Based on the volume, he must know it's gonna be a bad week for him.

@adamdavidson isn't saying that @realDonaldTrump will be impeached or resign asap, but rather the raid on Cohen's office is a symbolic end to this presidency. It signals the eventual release of his business dealings, some of which will take American's years come to terms with...

Just like they did with Watergate, Iraq & the financial crisis. The smoking gun here is @realDonaldTrump's business dealings, not Russian collusion, although both are likely intertwined

Some of the worst hypothetical, unsubstantiated, supposed journalism I have read...I remember when the New Yorker was a decent publication, and not just a tantrum-fest for liberals who can't understand where it all went wrong (let me help: The Clintons).

My response is Nixon Reagan & Clinton all did very good things Every single though helped the rich gain ground especially Clinton. Nixon was a covert paraNoid manipulator. Reagan was the worst kind of ideologue and did many unethical things. He was totally demented too
