The impact of the U.S.-led strike in Syria will be limited in the long-term and the attack contradicts Trump’s long-stated aversion to getting entangled in foreign wars.http://nyer.cm/XqPZZ6o

If Obama did this when Syria “crossed the line” maybe the gas attacks would have stopped. At least Trump stands up to Tusdia and does not cave in like Obama.

He first needs to end what Obama started. Nice try, but fake news like this is why you have no credibility.

Not 'entangled in foreign wars'! Try 'joining with allies to stop the use of chemical weapons'! [ conflicted much? https://twitter.com/NewYorker/status/985535995574734848 …]

Assad deserves whatever he gets, and if the strikes ordered by President Trump have the effect of deterring even one other chemical-weapons attack, then we should all be glad. The trouble is, Assad deserves much worse, and he’s not going to get it. http://nyer.cm/QYVeBfj

I think it was a carefully executed warning. The Syrian civil war is a complex quagmire that demands allies and expert strategy. I want to see the US assist in a resolution, but I understand the trepidation.
