There are lots of details and surprises to come, but the endgame of this Presidency seems as clear now as those of Iraq and the financial crisis did months before they unfolded.http://nyer.cm/Z9HoHCJ

No one should declare the Trump presidency's final chapter until one of the following happens: - he's impeached - he loses an election - the Trump presidency becomes the Trump dictatorship

I think what he’s saying is that we’re at the tipping point, not that the ride is going to be smooth. And about the reality for Trump himself. If he were a fly, however much he struggles now, no movement will occur, he can’t slip out of the trap he’s set himself.

And what I'm saying, as any chess player will say, is never ask what the worst thing is that your opponent WILL do to you—ask what the worst thing is that he CAN do to you, and assume he'll do it.

I’m thinking he meant legally. Legally - and financially, the things Trump worries about - he personally, is hooped.

George W Bush may not have been the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he had a sense of duty to his country, however misguided. Trump has nothing but greed and a power lust. The endgame of his administration will make Iraq/2008 recession look tame by comparison.

Agree . Loved Bush’s statement about Trump making him look good. I too have read a lot about Financial Crisis. Once the severity known , Bush took on the GOP to enact the emergency measures needed. Even Nixon had more love for his country. Trump will never resign

Bush also had the integrity to not pardon Scooter Libby (who clearly was covering up for Cheney) even the right wing talking machine was hounding him to do so.

Great article. From the NE where Trump’s shady business dealings & mafia ties pretty much known. Down south now and during campaign totally amazed that people unaware of his questionable actions. For many , the successful businessman was a positive

People in Red States didn’t need a lot of convincing to vote against HRC . Plus older people are more reliable voters . Trump’s anti-immigration, anti-muslim & anti-minorities found a target whether they admit it or not
