When the first Chick-fil-A opened, in 2015, Mayor de Blasio proposed a boycott. Now the city seems to have accepted the chain’s brand of deep-fried Christian traditionalism.http://nyer.cm/pyYqEgQ

It must absolutely kill this author (who’s clearly living a bitter, cynical, & miserable life) to go to a place that he thinks is beneath him & the personification of evil & hate, only to be greeted by the sweetest people who reply “my pleasure” to everything. Those monsters. 🙄

The New Yorker is not even pretending to have respect for regular people anymore. To them, red state believers are pariahs.

I’m a lifelong Conservative who just couldn’t bring myself to vote for Trump in the last election, but this article is representative of why I also didn’t vote for HRC and why I would never vote for any other Democrat with similar beliefs.

Having said that, I didn’t vote for HRC because I supported her positions, I did so to try and stop the constitutional crisis developing now. It was predictable.

What a blind moron. Clinton is the very one who weaponized govt to attack her political opponent bc she "deserved" to win. It's unbelievable people are so stupid to believe Trump is the enemy

I’m not a liberal, I’m a life long conservative. Trump is the one who just signed a massive debt laden omnibus. I’ve never asked Hillary to my wedding or given her campaign money. Trump has and is not a real conservative by any measure, other than cult following.

Chick-fil-A has gone into many places, like the airport in Atlanta last year when everyone was stranded, opened up and fed the people for free, I have not seen any other food chain do the good deeds that chick-fil-a has...they are awesome...This is represented by their faith...

The only reason they are in office is unions. The unions push and push (phone calls, mailers and rally's).
