Part of the let-down of breastfeeding is hormonal and tied to the relaxation response. A redesigned pump that supported both comfort and ease rather than discomfort and basic function would likely be more effective.

Just asking, is it because Baby lives are not important anymore because of the ease of abortions?

machines in place of breast feeding is inhiman. the bonding is priceless and can't be replaced with a plastic bottle and pump
-
Well, you can’t pay the mortgage with the joy of bonding. Some of us have to work.
-
I worked AND breast fed directly from my mammary glands, its called a small business, Corp is not family friendly. Sadest story was of a mother pumping her breast in her car in the parking garage. But hey she's a professional
-
So every woman who works and has a baby should quit their jobs and start a home business so they can breast feed on demand? That’s...not a solution. Some employers provide decent lactation facilities. More should do so. A little less judgment would go a long way.
-
women should work in environments conducive to raising children. That ain't corporate. It isn't a home business, it is a small business, 28 yrs strong. We own & we were free to give kids the attnetion they deserved. 21, 23 & 31
