I can see why the New Yorker is not considered a credible news source and where the confusion comes from.

These stories help gain an insight into spy mentality. The mental health of those involved in health can indicate symptoms of schizophrenia, bi-bolar and mulitiple personality disorder. We see the same symbtoms with gang bangers sometimes, wild 60s who woulda thunk.

Correction: the mental health of those involved in espionage can include symptoms of schizophrenia, bi-polar, and multiple personality disorder. Police, Military, Politicians and Diplomats working openly has much better results.

The New Yorker would normally be published under the opinion section in a newspaper. The fact that they have a whole publication and website says a lot about how much their opinion was valied. I personally like them but this is not a current event publication.

They provide information from a WWII and cold war perspective. Latinos don’t really have that perspective as Latin America was uninvolved in both issues and Cuba is thought to have been a pawn to get Latin America involved.

Full Disclosure: I share a surname with Che Guevarra Two Generations back. My grandmother on my mother’s side had the maiden name Guevara and Escobar. Guevarra was a Maxist who traveled to Cuba but Marxism is an ideology and did not necessarily mean Guevara had ties to Russia.

. I’m still not 100% sure what the revolution was about. I have to look into it and I am authorized to view files other people can’t since it concern m family. This and Berlin Wall are on the agenda. -
