        What a remarkably honest and beautifully written piece. It reminds me of a dear friend who told almost no one - maybe only me? - of the abuse and sadism he was subjected to as a child. He was a writer too. /x

        He lost his life in an unspeakably tragic way in his early twenties. I wish he could have survived his twenties and made it through as Junot Días so movingly describes. I wish he could have survived until the time came when men could openly discuss these things. /x
