Whether Cambridge Analytica’s targeting work actually swayed the outcome of the Presidential election has been a subject of debate—because the firm’s record is spotty, psychographic targeting in political campaigns is a relatively new concept.http://nyer.cm/dPNQKhN

Considering FOX and the Far Right have been attacking Clinton for almost thirty years, chipping, chipping, chipping away at her credibility, I would say that Fewer Vote Getter didn't really require a huge assist. A 70,000 vote difference out of 129,085,410 total votes decided it.

She's been their Keyser Soze since Bill was elected. It's not right but made it easy for an immature, name-caller to tap into ppl unhappy a black man was President & looking for ppl to blame for their woes.

I really don't understand why you just don't come out and say: blue collar and rednecks came to the poles for Trump! Lesson!

Propaganda is not new there are simply more advanced tools now. It's much like lead paint, you don't realize how much poison you're pumping into the environment until people are infected. Even those involved don't understand the full complexity of manipulating the web.

It's not new at all, just the method of delivery has changed. Your bible, Propaganda, was written in 1928https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/493212.Propaganda …

the only surprising fact is people still questioning whether it did or didn’t. Especially the media.

It is very concerning that if people begin to reasonably suspect there is an ongoing tampering of elections from outside influence determining the outcome, they are likely to become disenfranchised with the entire concept of voting what they wish could be a free & fair process!.

So every ad, on tv, radio snd socisl media is a waste of money? If that is true every company that uses ads to sway opinion and behavior is wasting billions. Right.

Of course it worked, warring armies have been using Psyops for years (the soviets were very good at it) and this was without the multiplier of FSBook, Twitter etc. The only wonder is why this information warfare was used to such little effect in the past.
