No! The Trump-era toxic politics normalized by "Roseanne" should be cancelled by @Disney before tolerant, patriotic families boycott @WaltDisneyWorld and every other their other cash grab businesses.

You miss the point of the show. Average working folks don't boycott things. Their struggle is too visceral, and their drudgery is only blessed and contravened by laughter and light-hearted ambivalence. It's a refreshing perspective. Can't wait til next Tuesday!

I don't miss the point of the show. I have a major beef with Roseanne's Nazi proclivities.

It's funny you would acuse a Jewish person of being a Nazi. People who compare every non-mainstream political thought to Nazism do themselves and humanity a disservice and denigrate the spirits of millions of people who died as a result of an actual totalitarian racist regime.

Right. And then there are the pictures of her in full Nazi attire, taking “burnt Jew cookies” out of the oven.

That was from the Jewish magazine 'Heeb'. You obviously fail to understand nuance and satire. Free speech is just that. Or are you a ... Nazi?

To your point a couple of tweets ago, it’s disrespectful to those who lost their lives to the Nazis. Certain things aren’t funny. Ever. And don’t call names Luke. You seem thoughtful enough and better than that.

I wasn't actually calling you a Nazi, I was being ironical. My point was this: we have to let artists, journalists, & essayists express themselves and judge the whole of the work--not just the aspect we don't like--fairly. Essentializing expression as Nazism is weak criticism.

Roseanne Bart's show is troubling in many aspects. "Those Were The Days" was pure satire, and encouraged people to laugh at themselves. Sadly in the current climate, people will take her seriously.

The article makes the argument for why the Conners would only truly be happy in a Communist system.

The Connors are happy because they embrace love above every other temporary condition that comes their way. They are stalwart and brazen in their kindness and humor, breaking stereotypes and bucking convention in favor of compassion and resonating optimism. Working class heros.

You are sheltered and ignorant for it. I'm in construction and know the hardworking, underpaid, resilient people who build houses, maintain the electric grid and sanitary system, lay pipes, paint & landscape, etc. People who use their hands to make this world a better place.

You are judging people you don't know for situations you don't understand, and you look down on people who don't enjoy the advantages you do. That's why Im really enjoying how badly Trump pisses people like you off. Elitism is it's own punishment bringing sadness and isolation.

What have I learned about the Roseanne reboot? Tonight it seems to involve 32,000 liberal pedophile rings, someplace called 4cnan, the basement of Pizzagate, a dude named Q dropping clues on Reddit and cryptic tweets from the star. #OffHerRocker
