What Cambridge Analytica did with Facebook data wasn’t a “breach,” it was a consequence of privacy policies that are as obscure as they are lax.http://nyer.cm/zOTYe45

Facebook's privacy policies may be obscure, but Zuckerberg wasn't obscure when he said "absolutely not" to the suggestion that their data could ever be sold in a 2009 BBC interview. Not obscure, but also not truthful.

Talk to the choir tell it like it is Facebook does have internal problem and maybe to close to law enforcement in regards to free speech without probable cause to believe a crime is or about to be committed to close to law enforcement

I agree, It wasn’t a breach. It was clever use of social dynamics, API’s, the Facebook Ad Platform, black hat techniques, data mining & analytics. However, how this data was used — to politically radicalize both bases is what resulted from this... canvassing tactic 👀

and @Facebook must be forced, by Congress, to identify & show how Russian ads/memes/messages propagated thru their platform, highlighting how many were repeated thru each account they touched, shown by Congressional District. Make Cambridge Analytica pay for the fireWall!
