With gun-advocacy groups investing heavily in youth recruitment and manufacturers catering to an emerging children’s market, shooting sports are gaining in popularity: http://nyer.cm/y4DE1Ue pic.twitter.com/nJtWiSHfOa

Why try to force even a slight connection between the button-downed world of competitive shooting and the "Murica! Muh guns!" mob? Culturally and mentally they're light years apart. Trying out for the Olympic team vs shooting up schools.

You city people are ignorant to the culture of the flyovers. Highschool trap shooting is huge, and a hs trapshoot is the safest place you could be

City people have about as much understanding of guns in rural America as they do an 8-bottom plow in sandy-loam. We were taught to respect firearms and to love the land, livestock, water, and wildlife. City folks better never have to feed themselves.

This is the kind of bullying that causes kids to kill themselves. Hopefully they don’t read your comment or you have the decency to delete it.
