I went to visit Hemingway’s home and had a few drinks in his favorite bar, but I have to confess that don’t enjoy his writing as much as other American greats like Steinbeck.

Agreed. There's something about his spare prose that I like but not as much as Faulkner. I could reread The Sound and the Fury every year and find something new in it every time.
