I'm a woman who created an MFA curriculum, taught in it, and had my contract terminated in deference to a faculty member who made out with a female student. Don't talk to me about hope.

What is utterly apparent as I read these tweets is that none of you have spent more than 5 minutes reading/listening to him. You're pushing back against the middle and you don't even know it. I urge you to try harder.

I've spent enough time listening to him to know that he's a constructionist post-modernist who rejects scientific truth that doesn't fit his subjective opinions, and that he does a lot of pseudo-intellectual hemming and hawwing to dress up unimpressive reactionary arguments.
