I get this. I have had agoraphobia since childhood. It was under control for a very long time. Since 9/11 it has gradually consumed me. I leave my house only to go to the doctor. Many times I can't even do that. These fears can consume us. Please, understand. Please listen.

Dawn I've suffered from agoraphobia for 18 years. It sucks! How long have you had it?
-
I am 53. I had symptoms as a toddler. It was under great control until 2001....9/11 amped it up....I have been completely involved for about 9 years. It's okay right now, but it gets irrational...afraid to eat, afraid to leave one room and go in another.... It's so strange.
-
Oh trust me i know all about strange. It kind of effects all aspects of your life and creeps in to all places. It is like you said, irrational.
-
I wish I understood it. All I can do is live through it.
-
I've messaged you Dawn

Move to the Midwest, where you can be sure that 99 percent of the many people around you who are legally armed are no threat and will in fact protect you if needed. Gun-limit states reduce those odds by huge margins, lawbreakers and law-abiders being what they are.
