With seventeen people dead on campus, students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have gone viral tweeting back at the President (among other unhelpful commenters) in appropriate tones of disgust and outrage.http://nyer.cm/ITyi4jk

Stage a nationwide student walkout day...strike by not going to school or by walking out. Students are fed up and rightfully so.

Soon these children will have the power to vote. Many of them will be able to vote in the upcoming midterms. I urge them to arm themselves with the knowledge of their candidates, and to help us vote out those who are doing nothing to stop these needless massacres.

TV coverage needs to start showing unflinching pictures of the actual carnage that results from these outrages. Why are we sanitising such events? They should be unbearable to watch. Maybe then there would be more inclination to make them stop.

That would be ideal. It's shameful they've insulated themselves from the horrific consequences of their inaction. IDK why we aren't all taking to the streets. It's a fight for our lives and we're too numb to move.

If you search “march against guns” that’s where the organization of the event is happening up to this point.
