And to think that about a year ago, President Donald Trump signed a bill nullifying an Obama regulation which was intended to make it harder for people with mental illnesses to buy a gun.

Yeah, of course knives are dangerous. You know what though? Running from a guy with a knife has much better odds than running from a guy with a gun.

Please get the facts before reporting. Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, and Canada all allow guns to be owned by citizens.

Hi, Canadian here. Our law puts guns into categories: prohibited (military weapons), restricted (handguns), and non-restricted. You need a firearms licence and must undergo a screening process including criminal history & background checks, personal references, and waiting period

Brilliant, angry, and true article from @adamgopnik ‘no other modernized society experiences remotely the frequency or the horror of American gun killings. There is no mystery at all to stopping this, if there is a minimal will to stop it.’

Your logic is faulty. The system that fails them arms them. They're armed with vengeance over being abandoned, disregarded, ridiculed, expelled from the places where they should be nurtured and treated with kindness. The young killer was a forlorn tragedy unfolding since birth.
