Rarely do you love a band for a decade and then turn away sharply, but that’s what happened to @asarahlarson with U2.http://nyer.cm/i3d8THA

Years ago, U2 recorded "Where the Streets Have No Name" live in the heart of our skid row (LA). Local paper quoted homeless man looking up and saying, "Haven't we suffered enough?"

Awesome article but depressing... How the hell can a U2 fan scream Nationalist rhetoric at a show?!?! Better yet, how the hell can a Nationalist be a U2 fan?!?!

I can't imagine loving U2 with my whole heart. They were good for a while and then they were decent for a while and it has been over a quarter of a century since they were either.

Why? I still love them. They raise a lot of other people's money for good causes. Don't know if they ever give their own money or not.
