He’s great! And the spices and blends are wonderful and probably the best in the nation. I’ve been using their spices for 30 years.

Love Penseys and their politics! Proudly wear the "kind heart" button sent free to all @womensmarch participants in 2017. Their cinnamons are heavenly and gift boxes very reasonable. Glad to shop there!

Keep politics out of business. Not every one thinks like Bill Penzy. Nice way to tell people we don’t need your business.

In short, BUT FOR the "Spice trade" and overseas expansion, it is far from clear that the Gentry would have the resources to purchase land that the crown had confiscated when the monasteries were dissolved in the 1530s, much less to overtake British politics. I say: go Bill!

Namely, with the unbridled wealth and influence that proximately resulted from the burgeoning Spice, Textile and (ahem) Opium trade, the Gentry class in England supplanted the Nobles as the prime movers of the State: ultimately defanging the Star Chamber & dethroning the Monarchy

In related news, some Historians might credibly contend that the "search for spices" (& other goods) by nearly 50 English companies devoted to overseas commerce helped fuel the rise of the Gentry class which, of course, was one of the most significant "turning points" in History.
