Some Democrats simply don’t believe that the Republicans are genuinely willing to make an agreement to protect the Dreamers.http://nyer.cm/RfKDtAK

We aren't.....The GOP had months to act like they care. They let CHIP expire months ago...Look at their leader, no one knows what he believes, or what he's going to think tomorrow. Kudos to the Dems for taking a stand and pushing the issue of DACA now!!

Using the term “think” in a highly specialized sense, here.

Can’t imagine why. They could put up a clean bill on DACA and CHIP anytime they want.

Perhaps because America elected a champion of segregationist policies and practices that protect white supremacy.https://medium.com/everyvote/why-mlk-would-consider-donald-trump-a-segregationist-b1b43cc015ad …

Republicans have been lying about their support for Deeamers to keep Democrats talking and compromising right up to March 5, when they plan to let DACA end. None of them is trustworthy. Democrats were right to call their bluff NOW.

With good reason. Trump's decision to appeal the DACA decision to the Supreme Court in the middle of this signaled their intention to try and deport before a budget vote.

The GOP track record doesn’t lend much credibility to their promises of follow-through.

And why should they? Donald Trump has proved over and over again that he can't be trusted. The Republican Party is owned by Trump and will end up like many of his other acquisitions throughout the years.pic.twitter.com/vsCP9qTm4f
