Despite the impulse to view it as some innately French point of view, Catherine Deneuve and her co-signers' denunciation of #MeToo isn’t a straightforward case of cultural difference: http://nyer.cm/2s6DI64 pic.twitter.com/Jf1Lg0oVy7

Sorry, I'm french and the second point it's not true. But we speak freely about everything we want, even sex.

#MeToo has been certainly hijacked by AI chatbots for the purpose of the Right wing propaganda echo chamber and hive mind. Search. For learning.

No - but it’s a pretty straightforward case of them OLYMPICALLY MISSING THE POINT. It’s as if they never noticed male hegemony and supremacy in the workplace and therefore can’t recognise the abuse of power element. Given the age range, generationally they are also victims of it

Don’t be victims. Use your femininity (female intuition) like a man uses his masculinity to conquer. You won’t find a man’s weakness by acting like him.

This is 2018. Heterosexual #Women today for the most part expect and require more from a man than a functional penis and ideally minimal financial compensation. In her day, that was all that could be and was expected of a heterosexual male. Her vpoint is understandable.

Please do not generalize an article from a 100 mostly very privileged women for the voice of all French people. A great libération of speech has happened in France regarding sexual harassment, it remains a public debate -just don’t generalize this as « the voice of the French »

I found the priest in 1974 who asked a woman for her sexual history to be the "religious extremist." But who are we kidding? France is obsessed with Islam.
