Fair opinion. I think the question mostly is aimed at contemporary pop music, as there is often a 'formula' to it. rather than blanketing all music Pretty weird to see Radiohead get flack for it though, imo, it reeks of Warner Bros

modern pop music nowadays all have the same chord progressions because there are not that many choices on “good” chord progressions, it’s pretty common to hear songs that are similar
