Even among the many errors in Michael Wolff’s book, some big and many small, the matter of Mark Berman’s nonexistent Four Seasons breakfast stood out, @sbg1 writes.http://nyer.cm/NvMg4So

Thank you for saving us from this horrible misinformation. As Rome fucking burns, it's good to know that the people in "the know" are keeping track of the pecking order. Shameful and embarrassing piece.

Washington D.C. always sounds like such a nihlistic, incestuous, shallow place when people write about it. Everyone in Washington knows Mark Berman never dines at the 4 Seasons? What adults live like this? How can people who aren't professional gunners stand it?

This is all in character for Wolff, but I'm puzzled by Henry Holt. Do publishers no longer employ fact-checkers to do the googling?

Wishful thinking. As a writer, I would say that Wolff is the luckiest human being on the planet. What has happened to him is what every writer hopes for, wishes for, prays for. Who knew that Trump’s ego mania would be so severe to make Wolff an instant millionaire.

Wolff says in interviews, if it sounds believable, then it must be true. Wolff & his publishers won by catering to a gullible, vituperative, & vindictive audience who WANT to believe. No matter the errors, inconsistencies, or lies-- MSM has lapped this up.

Gossip, rumors are sad expression of a dysfunctional media without respect for citizens. Continuously distorting facts, words&actions.

I don't care how much truth is in that book. If you want to fight the devil, you can't do it with praising the lord alone. Give #45 what he deserves, by all means, stirr the west wing up. Hail Discordia!
