#Oprah2020 strikes as a community thought experiment, a buzzing knot of desperation, fanaticism, and—weirdly—logic. We might as well look to the heart of these fantasies for instruction.http://nyer.cm/et6iZLS

Have we learned nothing? Putting a Celebrity President with zero experience crafting legislation or governing into the White House isn't just a bad idea when the Celebrity is a Republican -- it's a bad idea, period. Oprah's warm and charming on camera, but that's not enough.

Democrats must concentrate in selecting a strong, capable, charismatic candidate for 2020 and not be distracted by "talk show queen" for POTUS coming from reaction to emotional speech & #metoo hysteria

Celebrity could indeed inspire hope in a candidate. However, I feel uncomfortable with the idea of making the public’s neoliberal rags-to-riches pipe dream with no experience in our Kafkaesque legal system President, whatever her ideology or background.

No, no and no! The damned media is greatly responsible for the current mess in our White House and now want to put another inexperienced dilettante in the most important office in America. There are many experienced female civil servants in Congress. No! #NOprah

Fantasy in political protests brings relief and hope, but political positions need more experiences.

Actions of experienced politicians seem to be what's in it for me? Maybe Intelligent/devoted/responsible rich people can make a difference.

I don't see the benefit to our political institutions to injecting another wealthy celebrity who puts their name on everything they own into our political discourse as some kind of savior.

I always enjoy being around people with talent. I think Oprah has numerous talents that attract anyone with a speck of compassion in his/her heart. However, I think this writer of this article named Doreen is also a very talented writer. It was a pleasure reading this!🔥 Thanks!
