So what are we doing with the mother? Not to sound tacky but when crack babies were born the mom (black) was arrested. You can't tell me these mothers have a prescription & if they do then the doctor also needs arrested. Opiates or crack no difference to me.

Race doesn't need to be fucking brought into every conversation. That gets old. And no I'm not racist. I have more black friends then white prolly. This is a pandemic started by the gov. To destroy all ppl. Color doesn't matter.

the Real users - people in chronic pain - what do they do without it? No one is finding an alternative pain reducing agent. Maybe people are addicted to not having pain. Did anyone ever think of it like that? “I’m in pain I have to go to work.” What will cure the pain??

That's like saying "Why do you care if some kid was raped. It isn't your kid". Humans generally have sonething called empathy which allows us to actually feel bad for other people.

Addiction is not the same as dependency. Addiction encompasses a set of rewarding behaviours (which a newborn lacks), and may include a dependency (a manifestation at the physiological level).

What he said... Sorry my phone wouldnt let my tweet for some reason. The article is misleading. Opioids dont cause addiction first, its brain chemistry. The history of oxy is true b and may have contributed a small amount to addiction but heroin from the war in Afgahnistan...

Contributed more. Oxy is also about 12 years old news. EVERY contributor to the article has a monitary interest in fighting opioids(suboxone, for profit rehab, etc) and what they say about pain patients is flat untrue. The real problem is the sensationalism. They are telling
