Michael Wolff recounts near the end of his book “Fire and Fury” that, five months after James Comey’s firing, Steve Bannon was predicting the collapse of Trump’s Presidency.http://nyer.cm/UKZfeBv

This is personal between Bannon and Trump. Collateral damage is inevitable.

Meh, not impressed. Many of us were predicting it 5 months before he fired him.

Seems Bannon must have taken a Democratic payoff to do what he can to bring down the Republican party (as he said he would do). Put a lie detector on him and see what's true and what isn't.

New Yorker needs new narrative. Impeachment of Trump probably not a smart mission for magazine. Glad I dropped my subscription to NYer. I use to be third generation subscriber until NYer spent all energy in impeachment. About like French Humanite newspaper.

Before gloating, consider that, for Bannon, Trump's role is only to prepare the way for the terrifying Untermensch that he dreams of, and that we, in our generalized passivity and confusion, may deserve.
