What were these kids' families thinking sending them out into danger?! Meanwhile US Libs tell us WE are separating families by threatening deportation (blame US first!). The point is they are here ILLEGALLY. Send them back to reconnect with family & then APPLY for immigration.

They’re in about ten times the danger in their own country’s streets than in their ours. Why would they come here if their home was fine?

Your immigration was a choice, theirs is necessity.

There is something called LEGAL IMMIGRATION. Anything else is criminal behavior. Once you get away with something, what will prevent you from reoffending? Nations have borders & laws. If necessity was an excuse, half of the world would be at US doorstep. Unsustainable.

I wasn’t arguing that unlawful immigration is not the way people should arrive here, I’m arguing your claim that parents are sending their children into more danger here. Risking deportation and the violence in US gives them a better shot than the cartel in their own streets.

Still not a reason to violate US laws. Unfortunately violence is a fact of life in most countries who elect tyrants & accept across the board corruption in daily dealings. My heart goes to these abused populations but I am also a pragmatic witness of world misery.

Our military could wipe out the gangs in one day across the continent and South America,. We are enabling them and pretending it is a huge war that will go on forever. Our military used to have total control over that. Were no gangs 150 years ago.

"Across the continent and South America" Quite redundant, isn't it?

North and South America are two separate continents. Once you cross over to Columbia, you are in South America.
