1) There was a comedy festival in PDX last year. And at the door of one venue, the comedian had a non-tradition name, potential audience members asked if the comedian was Muslim. The comedian was Moshe Kasher, who is Jewish. Nearly everyone thought that was a shame. And walked.

It's never a good time to be an entertainer from anywhere. I'm saying there are breakout opportunities for entertainers from the ME that never existed before. And that rather than assimilating to get work; they can often use the contrasts of cultures to their advantage.
