The Supreme Court argument of the Masterpiece Cakeshop case began with comedy, on Tuesday, and may have ended in tragedy.http://nyer.cm/10RYWR4

When cakes have their own art museums akin to @smithsonian @LACMA @GettyMuseum etc., then they can be declared art. Until then, bake the damn cake for whoever orders it. #MasterpieceCakeshop

So many people in the comments afraid they won't be free to discriminate and handwave it away with religion. They're only tolerant of gays when they can pretend they don't exist. Too bad we contribute more to the cultural fabric of the U.S. than any of the bigots can ever claim.

Logical inference. No one needs camouflage hunting hats, trucks that roll coal, moronic gadsden flags, bump stocks, white sweatshirts, Roy Moore, or (Kim Davis's fave) illfitting henleys to attract yet another redneck husband. It's a win by default. Thanks for playing, tho!

They harassed the baker like they would NEVER have a Muslim or Hindu simply because of what he did NOT have on his menu! He didn't refuse to sell them cakes / services that he makes! They tried to force him to make what he didn't!

That is not true. He’s a baker and well-known for his wedding cakes. He didn’t want to make THEM a wedding cake because they’re gay. Has nothing to do with asking him to make something he didn’t already- he’s just trying to use his religion to discriminate.

So if you were marrying someone of another race- they could deny your cake too, then? Or a Muslim? Or they could deny you a cake for your child bc you’re not married? Or bc I don’t believe in baptism for your kid? This is an insane slippery slope & a sham of religious oppression.
