I am not finding anything of art in this. It is just an uncomfortable-looking, self-consciously arranged picture of a woman on a rock. I worry for her feet, considering the local fauna.

Was just thinking that myself. Like an art exhibit turned sociological experiment. The cruelty in many of the comments is depressing and quite revealing.

Well, that's not really what I meant. It's just totally obvious that she does not blend. She's like a polka-dot tiger in a room with striped wallpaper.

Agree. She’s just sort of randomly plopped there, looking very out of place. There’s no grace or expression in it.

What a bunch of pretentious bullshit. She's one with the land and nature but can't knock off the McDonalds.

In these, as in a mirror, yourself is revealed. Your words pour from your mouth yet you don't know they speak of you more than the subject. Art is made also when you have revealed yourself without knowing.

I had a different reaction entirely to this photo than other commenters, which is fine. But the viciousness bandwagon is effed up.

When I did this in Jackson Square it was indecent exposure, how come Aguilar gets to call it art?
