Stop normalizing American's dangerous obesity epidemic. It's a major part of why our health care costs are skyrocketing. Fight Big Sugar and junk food, don't support it by pretending this is 'just another body type'. This is a DISEASE caused by CAPITALISM.

She's not normalizing it - where in that caption do you find that concept? Where? Or are you just hiding your own prejudice against weight by trying to sound like a concerned citizen? Smarmy condescension is ALSO a disease.

I live in a low income community where sixty percent of adults are obese, and thirty percent of CHILDREN are. Every one of those children will have major illnesses by their thirties or sooner, and their life expectancy will be much shorter. Is that what you want? OBESITY KILLS.

Who said it was celebrating obesity? It's a nude self portrait within nature. The idea of merging the human body with nature is hardly the the most original idea in photography, but it's done quite well at least.

These photos catch you off guard because usually people that interact with nature take better care to preserve the health and function of their body. Very hipster ironic of her.

B--no, it does not 'take me off guard'. I think that art should expand our horizons. However I've seen other pictures with 'different' people--but i thought the composition was more appealing to me. I do not dislike this one: i just miss grace in it as if she disliked her body.
