Should Senator Al Franken step down following revelations of sexual harassment? That question may obscure the real issue.http://nyer.cm/UdcsBAn

I’m for the Ethics Hearings. But I’m also requiring that the details of all sexual harassment cases that Congress has paid to hush up these last 10-15 years and make them part of the same ethics review.

No!! What he “admitted” doing wasn’t so bad! And I think he admitted to false accusations anyway. If he goes the bad guys win!

The 2nd “accuser” had her husband take pic of her and Franken at a state fair with hundreds of people around where hundreds of similar pics taken. Now it is sexual harassment to put your arm around someone while taking a pic? This story denigrates victims of real sexual abuse.

I don't think he should 1) the 1st accuser accepted the apology 2) the 2nd accuser, dunno, I have some doubts. However, the ethic committee & Minnesota should handle that.(my opinion)

Al Franken may consider to step down - right after Potus45 resigns.

@SenFranken @alfranken Must not resign. Reporters also must stop clumping him in with sexual predators. There is a big difference from someone intimidating and assaulting women to Franken’s childish humor and alleged misbehavior. #AlFrankenIsNotAPredator

Great article. The only line I disagree with, is the one that states it doesn't make a difference if Senator Franken resigns. Tweeden accepted his apology. He's one of the few reputable men left in Congress. No... to lose him now, would make a huge difference in America's future.

Rather reckless and dangerous use of the term "sexual harassment".
