        The;y hope that the bad stuff in the bill will take effect in 2018 and 2020, wages down, taxes up, economy faltering due to Republican actions, they hope the awful atmosphere will be blamed on Democrats. If the voters don't believe it, Democrats are in office & no way to fix it.
