        The Cherokee Indians in NC were successful wealthy farmers. White people were jealous, &. wanted their land, thus Trail of Tears.

        A sad family history then. At least that part. Cherokee Indians did as the White man wanted them to do, and were too successful. Betrayed.

        There are some Cherokee in NC mountains now. There is a town called Cherokee and a casino. Shameful part of US history. Good old A. Jackson
