John McCain’s disdain for Donald Trump was stronger than his love of Lindsey Graham.http://nyer.cm/QOX9tQT

Does it have to be personal? Isn’t it more likely that he wanted to respect the process and not vote yes on a bill that isn’t vetted?

Exactly right. I'm not sure I totally agree with McCain on this, but it's clear that his decision was entirely about process/deliberation.

Yeah that's what it's about. Cuz McCain's amndmt for more war in ME that he tacked on to Defense $ Bill was deliberated & open to process

That's a good point. Could be that he's letting a bunch of his friends vote Yea without endangering their careers by passage.

Why disdain or love? How about describing it as a sound judgement? Give him some credit for thinking about the consequences of the Repeal?

I think we all feel that way, but I hope he kills the repeal because it's an act of violence against the American people.

No. McCain's disdain was directed at a bad bill, although he has every reason to hold disdain for Mr. Trump.

Donald Trump is like Hannibal Lecter, you don't want the guy inside your head. Graham is just a spineless fraction of a man who sold us out.

Or maybe it doesn't have anything to do with his personal feelings & more to do with his professional judgment that it is a bad bill.
