So back to the 10-year war Hussein&Iran kept fighting. THIS IS WHAT WE GET FOR PULLING OUT OF IRAQ. DUBYA WAS RIGHT, WE SHOULD STAY THERE.

Doesn't this imply that pre-Iraq War concerns were correct (Iran influence would spread) and we shouldn't have gone to Iraq at all?
-
Yeah.
#GaryJohnson contended just that (I voted for him). IF we go in we should commit to STAY or not go, per Dubya (I voted for him). -
I agree w/ you generally -- either do the job or don't start it. Here there was neither a provocation to create a "job" nor a defined task.
-
Retaining troops to control Iraq may also have had unforeseen consequences -- al Queda animosity flamed by US presence in Saudi Arabia.
-
But all that said, once you created the disaster, need to complete it. Not easy to do, especially when large % Iraqis wanted US troops out.
-
Well they didn't want US out, at the outset. Afghanis still want US 'in'. The politics are nominal hostility, secret admiration, since WWII
-
Not at outset...but we signed agreement saying we'd be out in x years and they didn't want us there anymore at that time.

Is this an invitation by liberal Jews to Israeli neocons on TeamTrump to bomb Syria? Or why is this news?
