Cats freak me out. Seen several signs out back lately.
Don't see them too often. Most are under 150lbs and you'd think could be fought off, but they are incredible powerful & get control rapidly.
4 some reason "under 150lbs" isn't reassuring.
'CUZ THEY HAVE TEETH! REALLY SHARP TEETH!
& immortal wrds/Chris. Walken:'CUZ THEY'RE FAST!
An incident that is etched in my memory is where a cougar/ML attacked humans in my neck of the woods was at Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park.pic.twitter.com/qQjzYusP5M
A gal riding a mountain bike with a girlfriend was ambushed, taken down by a leap from this bold cat. The cat tenaciously had her
by the face & head dragging her while her dedicated & brave friend had her legs countering the cats efforts. Others heard the screaming,
came throwing rock until the cat retreated. We should all hope to have brave selfless friends like her biking companion. Story attached.
How do I read Caloosahachee? Can't spell 14 letters at once,,,, forget about the panther.
Florida is full of fun Native American names like that. Sometimes I don't know how they fit them on the signs along the interstate.
Great news! Hopefully they'll make it to adulthood.
shhhhhh don't tell anyone...the hunters (trump offspring and the like) will be out to get them!
That's some nice news among so much that is bad. Thanks for this.
There are less than 250 left.
Wow. Kind of exciting to have a reappearance of fauna thought gone.
Yea! (?)
