Disease is natural selection and population control. Get rid of it and you probably create more problems than you solve.

Wouldn't whatever probs are created be a new pressure of nat sel? Has the ability to manipulate genes not been selected for? Real questions.
-
the new pressure of nat sel will be war. Absent disease we'll kill eachother for resources.
-
My point was it will always be something (disease/war/famine/etc.) Not preventing one because another will take its place seems arbitrary.
-
it will always be something, but sometimes we get to choose. This is one of those times. Disease or war?
-
Fair enough. When *should we try and prevent disease? Why not eliminate vaccines/antibiotics etc.? You get sick...sorry? How far do we go?
