It is time to describe the atrocities in Syria by the proper terms: war crimes and crimes against humanity. http://nyer.cm/SF1MwYl pic.twitter.com/EDA2BuRyHh

The Syrian atrocities were aided & abetted by the impotence, incompetence & fecklessness of the Obama-Clinton-Kerry Democrats.

The rebels hid behind civilians, @NewYorker. The Geneva Conventions were joined in part to deny protection to such people.

The war crime is the use of human shields, not the collateral damage that results from it. @NewYorker

Another resolution about using proper terms: Not "conflicts of interest." Corruption.

Precisely. Aleppo, is/was a mass atrocity, a war crime, and a crime against humanity -- but not a genocide.

When others call it a genocide, it mislabels the tragedy & serves a distancing function, allowing people to turn horror into an abstraction.
