I am not sure that this is correct. Why don't you think that most bacteria stay with DNA but mutations happen rarely, the truth?

@wise_diva swap, read this and reason why non scientist should expound on science. Bacteria don't swap DNA -
1 they either absorb DNA molecules released during death of other bacteria; or 2 via conjugation via plasmid exchange
