If you took the time to translate what she says in full, you wouldn't feel bad about it. Quote was sarcastic reply.
Essentially, she acknowledges religion but states that _political_ religiosity is breaking our laïcity. That's right.
If u asked me "perhaps u like seasoned bananas" I would say "yes I like seasoned bananas & ?" then @NewYorker quotes me not you.
