Not to mention that it hasn't even been "universally" illegal in the US for a full century. The criminalization of marijuana and THC is a VERY recent thing, in the scale of our history. This author did absolutely zero research on the subject.

So we don't have proof of any benefits or side effects because it "hasn't been studied" but there is a link to increased mental illness and violence...which...has been "studied" by a dude and his wife? I'm struggling with the overall message of this piece.
