1/ Fantastic article. Thanks for presenting multiple sides. With my dad’s dementia, I never thought what I did was lying; I just went along with wherever his mind was headed.

2/ Hard part was determining by whose standards was I measuring his quality of life, mine or his? He was well cared for and seemed happy.
