For the President, the whole fight over Brett Kavanaugh's nomination has been the kind of triumph he loves: divisive and loud, with enraged liberals sputtering and his political base riled up.http://nyer.cm/AjRES4n

And for women, the whole fight has stirred a seething rage that the GOP will live to regret.

Half of America are independents. I am one. Perhaps it would help the national conversation by some inclusion on these stories, where all critical opposition is constantly described as the left. It is massively untrue. Thanks.

True. Americans are great at polarisation... only counting to 2: for it or against it... :-(

We’re done when it’s more about power and less about governing. Democracy can die there.

He is shortsighted and underestimates the true spirit of Americans who aren’t propaganda’ed by his rhetoric and misinformation. He may think this is a ‘victory’ of greatness, but so did Hitler when he appropriated and corrupted ‘justice.’ We already know how that ended.

I will never be okay with a rapist being appointed to the Supreme Court. I seriously worry about what kind of world my 1 year old daughter is growing up in!

Well, all Democrats, Independents and others should be riled up at the corruption of the Republican Party!

so its somehow bad for men to show emotions even though i always hear 2 faced, double thinking feminists say its toxic masculinity that prevents men from showing their emotions??

First of all you gotta decide whether showing emotion is a good thing or a bad thing. You suggest its bad for lefties but good for Kavanagh. You cant have it both ways dearie. Figure that out and we'll tslk

Its a statement of fact... ummmm where is my condemnation of emotion here? I am ridiculing the left for being violent thugs and unhinged whack jobs but that doesnt mean im ridiculing emotion generally
