The new Steve Bannon documentary, "American Dharma,” succeeds neither as journalism nor as portraiture, neither as political critique nor as cultural survey nor as psychological study: http://nyer.cm/o682fCU pic.twitter.com/6doswo8YAX

Dharma?? There’s not even a western meaning of the word. What on earth have Buddhist/Hindu moral, religious ideas got to do with his belligerent, non compassionate, angry views? #acculturation #unethical

Ignoring dangerous people NEVER worked. Exposing them by facing them head-on is the only way. In that regard, Mr. Morris did this country a great service, while you, @NewYorker, completely and utterly failed it by refusing to confront and challenge Steve Bannon.

I saw it in Venice. It was terrific, Errol Morris did a great job interviewing Bannon. True, Morris cuddled a bit up to the guy, but only to surprise him with hard-hitting questions, subsequently demonstrating the many contradictions in Bannon‘s worldview. Check it out!
