“I thought it was going to be an investigation,” a Yale classmate of Brett Kavanaugh and Deborah Ramirez said, of the F.B.I.’s renewed inquiry. “But instead it seems it’s just an alibi for Republicans to vote for Kavanaugh.”http://nyer.cm/Y0aMD8p

It’s been established by this administration that a tweet is considered policy, so the fbi got their new directive when he said nbc was lying and called for a full investigation.

@JeffFlake Is this really what you wanted: an alibi? How about all of Kavanaugh’s demonstrated lies in his testimony to your committee? Is that acceptable in a SC Justice???

Was this sham of an investigation orchestrated by you @JeffFlake so you could try to make yourself look like you care but vote for #Kavanaugh anyway? @ChrisCoons this also reflects poorly on you. He’s dragging you down in the quagmire.

This is what was stated all along. The FBI is basically going to take depositions similar to Anita Hill. They do not draw conclusions and can’t compel someone to meet. This is again bc it is not a criminal investigation but basically an enhanced background check.
