To most Dunkin’ customers, the dropping of the “Donuts” will hardly register—no one has used the full name in years: http://nyer.cm/Cyy0dRt pic.twitter.com/BmN8h3Sb8B

Who did they poll? It's a completely boneheaded idea. I know personally i never referred to it as 'Dunkin' and i know nobody else does either.

Concur, Liz. Never heard of just 'Dunkin' until I read The New Yorker piece.

I always say Dunkin Donuts. Had no idea I was some sort of anomaly that’s still using such outdated and archaic terminology.

Never eat the donuts anyways. Only time I stepped foot in there is when I’m Dunkin turds while in the middle of nowhere road trip situation.

The donuts have been trucked-in crap for two decades now so it's obvious where their priorities lie.

We say the full Dunkin Donuts in MD. Would look at you odd if you said only Dunkin.
